S8ked Posted August 25, 2018 Report Share Posted August 25, 2018 You may just need to replace the battery. Check that first as its cheap!!! Like many others, my car came to me with only the 1 key/remote. I purchased 2 of the basic keys (no Buttons) with lighted heads part # 996-637-041-01 and #996-583-531-00 from my local Porsche dealer. The dealer also programed the new keys for me. These basic keys do not have the lock and trunk buttons so you have to insert the key into the door lock and turn it to unlock/lock. You also have to open the drivers door to access the release lever for the trunks. I can live with that. Including programing these 2 new keys cost me $225.00 USD.
