My Boxster has 96k so last week I changed the gear oil , at which point I saw the coolant hose and drain for the first time , but looking at the service history and booklet I can’t see any reference to antifreeze changes only checking , so do you change it and at what interval and what type of antifreeze goes back in , red oat I suspect

thanks steve

My indy told me once every 3 years or 50k miles..

By the way, Official porsche claim was the coolant was lifetime... 🤣

Er they meant the lifetime of the coolant expansion tank...............🤦‍♂️

I checked the antifreeze and it was good to -10 , I got my inde Porsche dealer to check it also and they got good to -7 so actually mostly water by now , so it’s been changed , actually not worth doing it yourself when you consider the time to drain etc , the dealer just sucked it out with a vacuum machine and replaced it , pressure tested it and good to go , all for £80
