Paul P
Suggest a search by reg on Euro Car Parts - I just did a quick Porsche Boxster 2006 2.7 Oil filter search - came up with this https://www.eurocarparts.com/ecp/c/Porsche_Boxster_2.7_2006/p/car-parts/regular-service/car-service-parts/oil-filter/?501330101&1&168cf74ad3bd71a0c29f8ddc2e5054fd5bf93a0d&000231 £10.59 - but down to £5.82 if you use the code MID60 There's a number of other choices But..... personally, I would buy genuine, i don't know what Porsche charge for a filter but I am going to guess £40 max. Personal choice of course.
Roger C
Sorted now, ended up getting a Mayle one from Opie oils. Here is a good tip, Opie do 8 ltrs of Mobile one 0w40 and a filter for 86.95 as a package, if you order the oil and filter separate you can get 10 ltrs of oil and a filter for 88.90, basically getting 2 extra litres for 2 quid, they also have a £10 discount on orders over £50... so 10 ltrs of oil and a filter delivered free for £78.90.... bargain.
