Andylocksmith
What is the best engine oil for my 2.8, looks like it’s been on mobil thanks
Nobbie
I use Fuchs Titan Supersyn 5W40, meets Porsche spec, but slightly thicker when cold compared to the OEM Mobil 1 0W40. I don't think we really need the 0W40 that they might in Central Europe in winter. You can get it off eBay for around £50 for enough to change the oil. I'm assuming yours is a 2.5 or 2.7 rather than 2.8, or have you had it bored out? Lots of other recommendations on here. Try a search to get a whole host of opinions, often quite heated😀

Greenman
You can have the Mobil for £30/5 litres at Costco, or £25 if an offer on (which there isn’t at the moment).
Lennym1984
I'm about to fill up my Cayman with millers CFS 10w50. It's pretty expensive but given that I'm on 95k miles, I figured that it'd be cheap insurance....also its what Hartech recommend
