Lennym1984
Hi, Long story but is there a way to remove the rear tuning fork without having to remove the coffin arm? Somebody mentioned jacking the coffin arm to put the tuning fork at the right angle. Is this the right approach?
bally4563
Just unbolt it , if it’s knackered it will fly out, however new one in takes a bit of a wriggle, and to put the bolt back through the coffin arm I use a 8mm Allen key from the top to provide leverage to lign it up then bosh the bolt through
Lennym1984
@bally4563 it's a new arm. My question is more can you remove just the rear tuning fork without removing the coffin arms etc? I've only ever done the rears as part of a larger refresh where the coffin arms have also been removed
