beaks
Hi all, Need to remove the part circled... In the workshop manual it shows one screw holding it in... but for the life of me I can see where it is on mine... Does it screw from the inside out perhaps? My mind is telling me it's just held with a clip and to just give it a hard pull and it'll come out... but I feel that could just end up with broken parts instead! Any thoughts / advice / photos would be much appreciated. Oh, and it's not my interior in that photo! Cheers, Ian B
iborguk
If you look just below the 12V output on mine, you'll see a white mark in the "carpet" there's a torx screw head there, hard to spot unless it's been out before, you'll feel it just under the "carpet". The centre console faux leather side parts next to the carpeted trim pieces are held in by another two screws per side and clips - careful with those , the top one in particular can be hard to remove if not done before. Ask me how I know 😀

If it helps further see the diagram below, part 10 is the carpeted trim, 11 the retaining screw.
