How to remove trim part...

Hi all,

Need to remove the part circled...

Capture.jpg

In the workshop manual it shows one screw holding it in... but for the life of me I can see where it is on mine...

Does it screw from the inside out perhaps?

My mind is telling me it's just held with a clip and to just give it a hard pull and it'll come out... but I feel that could just end up with broken parts instead!

Any thoughts / advice / photos would be much appreciated.

Oh, and it's not my interior in that photo!

Cheers,

Ian B

what he said and get comfy as you think it's never going to come out 😀 if memory serves me right there are 2 on the drivers side

The carpeted trim part is held in by one torx on both the passenger and driver's side (RHD).

The centre console faux leather side parts next to the carpeted trim pieces are held in by another two screws per side and clips - careful with those , the top one in particular can be hard to remove if not done before.

Ask me how I know 😀
