Tony Daniel
Car is just back from my local Indie after having a aircon sensor replaced plus re-gas and I've come to open the frunk and the switch is broken. Coincidence me thinks not but anyway I've ordered a new switch from Fleabay for £17, yes its none OEM but I will give it a try. Removing the old one requires removing two blanking plugs on the side sill trim and loosening not removing the 5mm Allen bolts then pull up on the trim. The switch unit is then held by 4 clips which are a pig to undo. Part no. is 997.613.105.02 which supersedes the 997.613.105.00 hopefully. I'll report back on the quality of the switch when it arrives

Christopher2110
Let us know how you get on My frunk has been temperamental for a while and for £17 it’s probably worth starting with that switch
Propofol
Got one off eBay. Works well. Wouldn’t know it wasn’t oem.
Tony Daniel
Fleabay switch arrived yesterday and is now fitted and working 🙂 Quality and feel seems as good as the original unit, just the serial number sets the two apart.
