Shippers01
Was out in car earlier today, 2001 s for approx 40mins. Got back at 12.00 and went to cover car at about 5ish and noticed that drivers side vent was still quite warm. Never noticed before. Does it take 5 hours to cool engine down?? Only drivers side that is warm. Thought would ask in case any thing to look out for?? Temp gauge normal. Car is getting cooler now!! Thanks. ½cwt
They do take a fair time to cool down, a lot of metal, a lot of oil and a lot of water, but 5 hours seem a lot, but the again with cooler autumn air may have just been more noticeable. Paul P
Don’t know about the 986. But a 987 the drivers (U.K.) side is the out. The passenger side is the in side. So if the same then expected drivers side warmer than passenger.
