WIRING DIAGRAM OF TRIPTRONIC BRAKE PEDAL SWITCH

Hi I'm after a wiring diagram for the brake pedal switch on a 2005 3.2 987.1 triptronic only able to find the  manual diagram with clutch and brake switches, wanting to know how it works on triptronic cruise control and brake lights as I can only see one switch visual . And my part number research says it is the same part number as the manual but cannot find triptronic parts diagram to confirm so wondering if the is a extra set of contacts on the switch not used on manual set up.

reason I'm asking I'm about to fit cruise control and a couple of times at very low speed after pressing the brake pedal ( i think it is so random )I've lost power no response from accelerator only happened a couple of times very odd months in between them,  a few presses of pedals in panic all good again, research said could be brake switch and fitting cruise control is dependant on brake switch and a relative cheap swap. So a diagram would answer a few questions

Thanks in advance

The brake switch is connected to the rear body control module, and is the same part for manuals and Tiptronics.  The switch has a normally open and a normally closed contact.  So a simple check that the brake lights are working isn't a good enough test.  A PIWIS tester is able to show the state of each contact, so if you can get it plugged in, that is your best bet.  The attached diagram is from PIWIS.  If you zoom right in, you can see wire colours if necessary.

I seem to recall on my 987C.1 that pressing the brake pedal while pressing the accelerator will cut engine power, so what you experianced might be normal.
