iborguk
So not a direct help but the dealer for Car no2 is not far from me. Not familiar with them but they seem to do a fair turnover of cars. Personally for that kind of money I'd want the gen 2 but I'm biased. Sound the dealers out for prep. Here's the list of prep with original Porsche parts the dealer I bought from put into the car I bought (and yes it was reflected in the price but I knew I was getting a sorted car) ย Service + MOT Replaced Spark Plugs Replaced Brake Fluid Replaced Drive Belt Tensioner Replaced Front and Rear Suspension Wishbones Replaced Rear Brake Disks, Pads and Sensors Balanced Wheels Replaced Battery (actually that was a Bosch they were ante Porsche batteries although I subsequently replaced it for the terms of my Porsche warranty) Replaced Coolant Cross Over Pipes Full Geo and Hunter Laser Alignment ย ย

iborguk
For comparison mine is a 2011 and that prep-work was conducted at 32k miles. Drivebelt tensioner, wishbones and coolant pipes all seem common wear/failure points (along with the battery but hey that's a consumable I guess). iborguk
Also , as they are both manual , maybe ask if they can provide a rev-range report....will also help you gauge them re how helpful they want to be... https://911virgin.com/engine-revs/ ย

Ninesomething
It'd be the blue one for me. I think that's a really nice one. bandit_287
I had one of those, sold it with similar mileage and bought it on around 17k miles. One thing I guarantee will happen is your gear cables will snap at some point and leave you stranded, they are made of cr*p steel, infact the window regulator(drivers side) cable will snap too at some point if they havenโt been replaced already. Apart from those two snapping and a coil pack failure I had nothing else go wrong in six years. Good car๐ Edit: Heโll want to swap out the rubbish halogen bulbs for a pair of aftermarket Xenon or LEDโs as the standard Porsche fitted bulbs are like candles.ย Edited February 17, 2022 by bandit_287
