Basalt Black 986 2003 SL52EUD Where Are You Now!

So following on from a thread in Pistonheads where I saw my 2008 997.1TT and the history of owners popping in,

https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=&t=1976504&d=15404.46797#seperator

It got me thinking about where my 986 ended up.

There was s member in here who was aware of its current owner, is that still the case?

Would love to see an update on it.

Apologies @Araf I didn’t think the post was worthy of the 986 section, more of general interest. Thank you nonetheless 👍🏻

You'll probably find that @TROOPER88 has of knows of it.  He's got/had most of the 986s in here. :)

Looks like it's on a private plate, if it's still around.

If you've still got a copy of old V5 and the VIN you can find the last MOT station which might help pinpoint location.

If you give me the current reg, I will let you know if I have owned it

The only reg I know is the one it was on when I purchased it (as per title) and my Registration (vanity plate :) )

Hi @TROOPER88

The interior was quite unique so you would know if you had owned it....

Not owned it but tbh, I tend to only do stock examples.

I will let you know if I see it as a lot are sold through BCA

Cool

Last i heard was a member on here knew its current owner and had spent some money on it so was keeping hold of it for the time being.

Be Carful @Araf I have photographic proof of your fetish of sniffing tailpipes (particularly the above car)  at Donnington I may post  🤣 then you and @John K can play together.
