Greyanglia
I need to have two new condensers supplied and fitted. Any idea on what should I budget for this from an independent? It's an '08 987.1 2.7. Thanks
Pinewood
had both replaced last year on 987.2 and cost me £500 all in.
Greyanglia
Thanks. Best I've had so far is £500 plus vat so guess that's in the ballpark.
Pinewood
+ vat adds 20%, which brings your total to £600! shop around and get quotes from other independants.

It saved me a fair few quid.
deanmr2
It’s a pretty straightforward DIY job and then the only cost is the new condensers so cost would be somewhere between £200 and £250 for decent quality parts
Dosthilldave
Just done mine, two condensers, drier, o’rings and re gas (ATS Groupon deal) about £200 all in. Half a days work, all pretty simple and opportunity for a good clean up.

entdgc
This was the first job I did on mine. The condensers actually looked OK but I definitely had a leak and condensers were always favourite. Bought parts off the bay (coolparts uk rings a bell?). Very easy job. Recharge only lasted a few weeks so must have a leak elsewhere which I will have a look for one day. Till then I will employ natural air conditioning.
