Withy
Took a wee trip to Skye in our Macan this weekend. Great car for this kind of trip. Awesome scenery...Here's a few pics (Usual Scottish weather, good one day, rainy next, good on last day) Edited May 1, 2022 by Withy
Scubaregs
Skye is utterly fantastic, Lynn and I were up overnight at the end of last summer.

Yep, really is a cool place. Also did a RIB tour out on the water which was great
EXY
Weather changes from Day to Day We went on a PCGB Region 27 trip a few years back and stayed in the Cuillin Hills Hotel. On our way to breakfast one morning around 09:00 the sun was shining and the view was stunning, about 40 minutes later after breakfast the view was down to about 6 yards as it was snowing heavily. We went back to bed for a while as (per usual) I had a bit of a cold but when we got out later about 11:00 it was raining like it would never stop. Luckily a wind got up that dried up all the rain (not sure about incie wincie) for us to take a trip around the island and stop off for lunch. We discovered the Flodigarry Hotel which I ventured would make a superb venue for a Murder Mystery weekend but there were no takers, always meant to go back. Even the bridge onto the isle is an event. Thanks for the memories
Happy Days
I did the North Coast 500 about 5 years ago, but missed Skye. Next time I do it, I'm going to Skye and miss the top and east coast.
