Boxer boy Posted March 19, 2023 Report Share Posted March 19, 2023 (edited) Nah ! Once you have had a flat planed V8 there’s no going back . One of my other cars . I mean I love my 987.2 ( 2.9 ) normal injection as well , the flat 6 , the cabriolet thingy , + mid engined thrown in + thanks Porsche. But with a 70 carburettor F car you also get the clickerty clack of the rifle bolt action gear change .None of this wish washy by comparison cable linkage .I know the box is good , good as it gets but it’s no where near the F cars gear change .That’s the first thing noticeable jumping from car to car . I can tell you from first hand experience that even a Group N version sounds epic from inside even wearing a helmet and noise reduction intercom.
