carl s Posted May 24, 2023 Report Share Posted May 24, 2023 (edited) Looked at the battery cover under the frunk and there are two clips that need replacing on either side at the front, one is bent and the other has disappeared, looking on the web the part number for the clip seems to be 999-507-839-01, but is there another piece where it goes into the body? some posts mention an insulating gasket or clip that stops the paint being scratched on the car? andygo Posted May 26, 2023 Report Share Posted May 26, 2023 (edited) The part you are missing is just a thin oblong strip of softer plastic to prevent the clip and the two trim pieces you are attaching to each other ratlling - hard plastic to hard plastic.
