cbxpete Posted July 4, 2023 Report Share Posted July 4, 2023 Morning All, Please Help...... 05 Boxster 987 Had a problem with water getting in and wetting the rear control module? managed to dry it out and all worked again, roof,spoiler,rear lights,boot etc........ Everything is working now apart from the roof? Took the car out of the garage put the roof down went for a drive got to our destination roof up OK on way home roof down OK get home put in the garage roof not OK won't go up????. Suggest contact cleaner on the connections and the roof switch but ideally needs to get plugged into a scanner with some Porsche smarts to see what’s happening under the covers. does it make any attempt to move at all or is it playing dead. ? You can manually close it. Instructions are in the handbook. You need to pop the sockets off the ball joints and then you can operate the clamshell and the roof manually. that won’t fix it of course.
