My son has sold 3 cars recently (he gets through them 😁) to WBAC and they are very good - he takes them to our local Homebase where they have an office in the car park, a kid comes out, checks the mileage is right and the rest of the car is as you described it and done - no mechanic looks at it, they don't look underneath, don't even open the bonnet, nothing. One of the cars was a knackered old Micra and the auto gearbox was shot to hell and a garbage truck had reversed into it's wing the day before - £350 (he paid £600 for it a week before). The other one was a £17k Hyundai i30N, so it's not just the cheap ones they take. The value they tell you online is what you get now (assuming you haven't lied about something obvious).
