Bit of a bargain @PaulQ. Long as it's not a floppy Chinese momo Rep you'll be good! Looks smart even if the 3 point suede joins are abit "unfinished" looking. A bargain! Suede wheels are nice to use.
They are really good value. The horn push is a bit rough and ready, but will bin that and the joins are the only things that let it down a little, but its as solid as the Momo I took off. The stitching is fine, and the material is a good fit.
They do dished wheels too that dont appear to have the joins like this one, which I would have bought but didn't want to change the Boss as well.
Never had a suede one before, and it feels lovely tbh. One day i'll buy a 996 GT3 cup wheel

Put on my steering wheel from McGill Motorsports.
Can't complain for 33 quid delivered. Suede feels good.

I'm sorry, but I really don't understand what any of this is about. Old yes, stupid yes, but I'm at a total loss as to what this does, is about....
Help.

Search for "Boxster fan resistor" on google, and all will become clear
Your radiator cooling fans have two speeds, and you need a big resistor like this to get the lower one.
They are fixed at the front of the car underneath, and basically fall apart when old. Porsche ones are a bit expensive, RS ones are not
-
Potted my fan resistors with some Stycast.
A little ott, but they should last a bit longer then the Porsche ones

Ordered some resistors from RS last night to get my fans working on low speed, which arrived this morning so bolted them
to some 4mm alluminium plate, and wired them up.

Good luck
Our passat goes in for its MOT tomorrow too, and the box needs doing this month.

Also worried about the longer new wheel bolts I've bought. Bloody @PaulQ and his wisdom!

A white cat lives on my car in the summer months, bloody annoying cleaning the fur off. Have noticed a few scratches too.

Tbh I've driven it a few times and, apart from the truly horrible eps, I don't think it was that bad. It's more mini-GT than sports car and certainly suits those looking for a more relaxed driving experience.
It was driving that that made me decide that I needed an NA engined car again, so it had its uses. Both the Porsche and BMW engines are gorgeous.
Yep, good car the Z4.
That 3L engine sounds lovely
