You could get a Spyder for the same money...no brainer surely?

I think they look great roof down, which it would be most of the time for me as a weekend fair weather toy.
One of the few cars that would tempt me out of my current 992...
Roof faff or not!
Must resist, must resist... .

Just specced a 25 on the Porsche Configurator, no stupid extras, just the usual Bose, climate, pdk etc and got to nearly £80k.....
That's a lot of pennies for a Boxster.
Specced a GTS too and that comes in at the same price but with better seats and interior trim.
If I had to choose I would go GTS for the same money.
Not sure about those gold exterior bits on the 25, and those wheels look cr*p in my opinion too!
Think I will stick with my current steed.

Looks really cool, good job!

I didn't bother with a centre grille on my non GTS Boxsters, no point really as nothing to protect!

Sold it!

Shame that it's a different weave to the console though, I'm not sure if my OCD could live with the mis-match...
Maybe a piano black insert would have looked better?

So need some help to solve a little mystery from my quick inspection of the car when I got home. Whilst I was investigating all the cubby holes in the Frunk (and checking tool kit was still there lol) I spotted some trim which has been cut and a piece that has been made removable. This looks like its been done post factory but I’m not familiar enough with the model yet to know. So any ideas why this would have been done ?
nb its the cubby hole at the back of the frunk which you can access from above and in front by removing plastic “doors”
There is also a black cloth back in there, any idea what its for ?
Now that is a strange one!
Could have been a tracker I suppose, how could you find out for sure I wonder?

Would it be worth putting a warranty on it then getting it done, or would an OPC pick up the fault beforehand?

So I finally got to help with the build of my own engine... 👍
Did some of this:
Then some more:
A bit of this...
And also almost all of these:
Brilliantly enjoyable and I now understand why these flat format engines take so long to assemble - at one point it felt like we were building it from the inside out....!
It's not finished and you can bet I'll be there for as much of it as I can.
Looking good Matthew!

I received my renewal from A-plan but wanted track day cover and guaranteed value.
unfortunately they couldn't help on this occasion not for want of trying though.
Ive taken out a policy with a company recommended on PH,
guaranteed value
legal cover
NCB protection and
cover for 5 track days for the same price as A-Plans renewal quote which doesn't provide two of the above items.
Not sure it's fair to name the company on an APlan thread so if you want the details, PM me

Roof aside the Spyder is the more special car.
The front and rear ends are completely different, you can have any colour you want and it has the full GT suspension.
And you are not stuck with all those horrible gold bits!
I would bet the Spyders will hold their value better too, if that's a consideration for the buyer.
But I'm with you on the roof, doesn't seem to stop it selling though!
