Frankp2112
Hi, Can 987 seats fit into a 986? Will it give me a bit more space? My current car doesn't seem to have side air bags on the seat but in the door - if i find some seats with air bags can i leave them disconnecetd? Any advice or guidance would be gratefully recieved Thanks Frank

marseille
Well it's a momo prototipo wheel with a 944 boss, but I'm no longer using that got this fitted instead similar but with a deeper dish

That986
So the 987 seats go straight in, wires and all?
Araf
I thought the 987 had side airbags that the 986 doesn't? Have a look on my 'barry the boxster' thread in running reports. I changed the seats on one of the first pages, and IIRC there's a picture of the electricals underneath.

They do have airbags in the seats but afaik they're a separate connector for that system and you just don't connect it. I just need to know what the wiring is and if you have to splice or not. Araf
I've checked my old thread and cannot find the picture. I'll get one here shortly....

Araf
I won't be getting the picture up soon as it's not on my computer. I know it's in Photobucket but I just get a load of spam when I try getting into my photos. Leave it with me....
