MIkeyv60 Posted March 31, 2017 Report Share Posted March 31, 2017 At present the bottom grill has popped in a couple of times it has a hook one end and the clip , problem seems to be hook doesn't hook into anything stops coming out but doesnt stop pushing in. Stuart21UK Posted March 31, 2017 Report Share Posted March 31, 2017 The first time I fitted mine I found you had to get them in just right...they stayed there no problem without any extra 'help' I took them out for the warranty inspection and when I put them back in I couldn't quite get them to fit as securely so I zip tied them to the strines (if that's what hey are called??) huytonman Posted April 3, 2017 Report Share Posted April 3, 2017 Ive just fitted a front set of grills to my 981S - took no more than 30 minutes and after a bit of figuring out the install was simple - I think its a good idea to add a cable tie just in case they get loosened when on the road.
