Toddie
My Boxster has developed an uneven tickover, when it's warm it seems to rev up and down on it's own from say 800-1200 rpm, and you can see the rev counter moving as well. Seems to run just as well as before, any one any ideas?

Toddie
@Patt Thanks for your reply, which hoses would they be?
Boxob
I think @Patt is referring to the hoses on intake side to the throttle body and throttle body the plenum.
map
Does it start straight away? Or does it need to crank over a few times before "catching" and running?
Toddie
@map it starts straight away cold or hot, it just revs unevenly on it's own on tick over.

Never done it myself so cannot make a recommendation - just had a similar problem and lived with it until the car went in for a service. The guys cleaned the MAF then and the problem went away.
