Mattman42 Posted March 26, 2018 Author Report Share Posted March 26, 2018 Update call from the dealer today - new pads & discs, new condensers and a new tyre compressor arrived today so going to the workshop tomorrow to get those bits fitted along with some other minor bits and piece before a new MOT later this week getting closer! Who is the dealer, and was this all agreed before the sale? That's a lot of work being done by them, which is either coming out of your pocket, or their profit margin. Mattman42 Posted March 26, 2018 Author Report Share Posted March 26, 2018 Maundrells near Wantage - They had already told me this work was going to be done before delivery - as there was under 6 months left on the MOT they are putting a new one on too. This was all included in the price, hence minimal negotiation on screen price, but pretty happy that the car will be fully sorted when i collect it. red rocket Posted March 26, 2018 Report Share Posted March 26, 2018 I nearly bought one from Maundrells and had similar discussion- no movement on price but they would fix what needed doing, some of which they very honestly pointed out to me rather than other way round. I won't corrupt the new car post. Enough to say we've had an exchange on the work instant messenger. Apparently I am jealous of his hair and that's exactly the response I would expect from a Salesman... Frankly its a miracle the working relationship lasted as long as it did...
