Jord
Does anyone know if the facelift dash surround with the top cupholders is a direct swap for a prefacelift? id really like cupholders in my 2000 S.

½cwt
There is another option which is the Porsche air vent cupholders. You'll see there are two holes in the sides and one in the bottom of the outer air vents, the holders clip into these and do a decent job for a small bottle or 330ml can. Check out this thread. the baron
I looked into this conversion, but it was a real faff and involved changing air vents etc, so just bought the OEM cup holder for the £25 which clips into the driver or passenger vents

½cwt
And yet I have no notable problem with the vent mounted ones other than having to use a small water bottle in the summer, and I can take them off in winter.
