Recall- outer suspension/hub mount

Hello there

Only a list of the extra bits I authorised, basically bolts and the lower arms as the bushes were split, charged £1k for that.

There does seem are fair bit of new metal you can see underneath and through the wheels. Apparently 8 hours labour involved.

I was in Glasgow Porsche centre on Friday buying spark plugs for my 981 Boxster as it’s been 4 years since they were last replaced going by its history. While I was there I asked about the outer suspension/ hub mount recall and asked if it applied to my car, I was told it didn’t so I am just wondering is it year specific or how do they decide what 981’s it applies to ?

Thanks Kevin, my car was registered in June 2014 but the OPC are saying my car doesn’t need any recall work done on it. Could it be it depends on which factory the car was assembled?

If it is an official recall you would know by now if yours is affected, or go onto the DVLA vehicle MOT history on .gov.uk and you can check for any outstanding recalls.
