98656183402 I think is the driver's side for the water drain hose, check with an OPC parts dept.

There is also a different part number for the passenger side , 98656183302.

Again suggest order from an OPC,  approx £35 before discount.

Fantastic Thankyou !

so it’s all one part then .
do you know if the foam tray has to be removed and fitted from the top or can it be done from underneath removing the wheel arch cover?

Well actually separate parts , tray and drain hose.

I think for the tray to come out it's remove the top, unsure re the hose replacement.

Hi

im having similar  problems with identifying a water leak.  Was it established that this pipe was in one piece from the underside off the foam tray to the exit point under the car. ???

It is one piece. What are the symptoms of your water ingress?

Water in the lower section off the drivers floor pan behind seat during heavy rain storms

Drain holes Checked

No rips in hood

No holes in polystyrene

No rips in door polythene membrane

Not very tech but when I put my finger down the drain hole in the polystyrene water collection tray  I can feel an open area & metal bodywork before the next drain hole. It’s like there’s a short section of pipe missing to join the two.l,  wierd thing is it’s the same both sides passenger side seems ok

Is the rear skit of the hood clipped int to two black clips across the back of the rear scuttle?  This acts as a trough to divert rain run off to the two hoppers. If not properly attached, water goes where it wants to.

That is exactly the same as me on my drivers side. I removed the old one today to check before ordering and it is absolutely fine so just refitted. I have checked absolutely everything as well as my local Porsche specialist. If I park just slightly facing down hill or perfectly flat it’s fine, it only slightly leaks if it’s parked on a drive that tilts the car to one side, it has to be extremely heavy rain too. I’m thinking it’s just the gap between the foam tray and the tube not quite catching all the water when tilted.

Luckily it’s extremely minor but still annoying. Will be getting my local Porsche specialist to have another look when it’s in for its service soon.

Will update thread if they find anything.
