Possibly a weeping Rear Main Seal, rather than the bearing itself?

@Gutley was this one of the units you looked at?
For sun reflections, is it possible to put on a sticker, much like a mobile phone screen, that is more matt finish? Or is it not the reflection but simply the light not being bright enough to show through the sunlight?
I remember seeing one double DIN over the years that advertised its screen pivoted slightly within the unit, so you could reduce direct sunlight on it.

Dismantled the front suspension, found 2 broken springs, 2 knackered coffin arms, bump stops disintegrated, top mount bush welded itself to shocker shaft, brake line snapped on moving the caliper.
Damn you and your two-car families. I was reading that on the other thread, thinking wow his GT4 has had a hard life…

Yes but your Capristo probably causes light structural damage to nearby buildings.

Potentially may be for sale then?

As it’s switchable you basically have two different cars on demand
To me it’s this. Whatever you have you get used to (or go deaf), so it’s the ability to change that I really like. Unlike you lot I don’t use mine much as most of my driving is urban and the clutch control in Sport mode is challenging. But then I put it on down the motorway and it makes the day brighter

I think a slight redesign would help. If the whole thing is a bit thicker and more substantial I think it would be a lot better.
I was thinking of a quick personal repair but yes if we now see two have broken in the same place they should get that feedback and thicken it for future.

Needs a plate across both sides rather than just trying to glue that narrow edge, I'd guess.

Seat repair
in 986
Welcome and congrats to you / your son!
Start a new thread generally in Running Reports to keep all your questions/ progress together. You'll have many!
And in your profile, give us a vague Idea of location (nearest large town?) so we don't recommend you a specialist in Devon when you live in Aberdeen.
Someone will help you with the seat issue (with location?!), it's not rare.
Good luck!

"WD-40" is abbreviated from the term "Water Displacement, 40th formula",[10] suggesting it was the result of the 40th attempt to create the product. The spray, composed of various hydrocarbons, was originally designed to be used by Convair to protect the outer skin of the Atlas missile from rust and corrosion...[wiki]

Map, you drive a 325bhp 986 with rallye spots and That Shifter - how much more assertive do you want to be?
-
It’s his current car. Shifter is rather tasty also.

It fell off, so they couldn't see it was damaged.
