  1. Do a search for the TPC kit. Parr published a couple of articles when they first did them. There is a silver 3.2 Boxster and an orange Cayman. You will not get your money back. As usual with mods you just won't get the money back when you sell.

  2. I haven't taken much interest in Dom Delaney but it does wen like his SVP business went into administration a year or 2 back. But he seems to be back in business with another similarly named business.

Anyway back on track kind of Jens Ehresman seems to quite regularly get 365bhp ish from the 3.4 in 987.2 and 981.

  3. If you want Spyder light weight ethos rather than original parts then there are plenty of good quality carbon and lightweight seat options. Similarly for wheels Team Dynamics wheels are good value for strength and light weight.

Any reason no-one just goes straight for the biggest available, eg 68>82?

Because there's a lot to intake tuning then just a bigger hole. You need to consider the mass and velocity going in, what the head and valves can actually push through and what the exhaust can get out the other side.

  5. The basis of the mod is to go to the next size up TB. So depending on what car you have then 68>75, 75>82. You just need to find the corresponding plenum as the opening of course matches the TB size. You then need to look at what else connects to the plenum eg any intake hoses and AOS to make sure that you can keep the same arrangement, or you then need to mod to suit.

  6. Basically, you're just going to modify/customise your Boxster ;)

I would add what do you want to achieve with the mods and how do you want the car to drive? As then you can do the right mods to get there.

30bhp is pretty optimistic on a throttle body and plenum change. It's a well trodden path and I don't recall anybody getting anywhere near that from that mod alone. If you want to to save some pennies or just hundreds of pounds then skip the IPD plenum and get a larger OEM Porsche one. Again a few have done it for 987 and IIRC it's the Cayman 987 one you want.
