  1. @daz05 @Lonewolfgjp when you fitted your spoilers did you get the alignment in the raised or lowered position.

I’ve watched Daz YT vid and it looks like in the up position so assuming you’re adjusting/lowering/lifting/adjusting….

wondered if it would be easier to get main brackets aligned in lower position to gap the spoiler correctly as assuming the alignment is all in the bracket to risers not bracket to spoiler.

Very nice you just need to fit them now.

I think they will look awesome on your car especially with the new lowered stance.
Have you decided how you’re going to fit the side vents?

    Thank you sir 🙏

Ducktail will go on Saturday, I have bought replacement gt4 inserts so I can keep my OEM gloss black ones undamaged and will then screw the pods in place with a little double sided. I will remove the side skirts to do this as I want to check drain holes too.

@andygo I understand exactly where you are coming from. I was not happy either with the amount of contact between 3M VHB and the bodywork. My solution was to remove the actual side skirt panels and secure with self tapping screws. Reversible but obviously you’d need to buy new black plastic surrounds as you’ve drilled through them using my method. I also used this method as I wanted to check the drain holes and remove the one way valves.

I’ll being doing the same as you 👍

My pods are at the Bodyshop currently being colour coded. I have also got new gt4 black vents which come with holes pre-drilled so I don’t damage my gloss black ones.

I do enjoy mine since having the kit fitted, although it can be a tad bouncy on the 19" winters compared to the 20 " summers.

I am currently in the process of trying to re-align the dipped beam as I have definitely lost the distance they had before the install.  MOT man said I had plenty of margin to play too.

Most seem to refuse to touch due to the self adjusting system of the PDLS.

Took it out for an hour Saturday in the dry, feels great.

In a years ownership and 3.5k milers I don’t think I’ve driven it in the dark so will have no idea on headlight range.

Cars in at Indy having H&R springs fitted and they’ve advised of the crusty exhaust bolts (and sent a vid) where they look like they’ve been at the bottom of the ocean for the last 50 years.

Told them to go ahead and replace with stainless as don’t want a failure like I had on my 987 which then impacted our trip around the NC500 trying to find a garage to fix for half a day.

Standard Sports Seats.  The multiway electronic adjustable ones are a put off for me personally & the proper buckets are so hard to actually get in and out of too.  Standard are comforatable over a long drive and OK to actually use on a daily basis.

I thought these were the basic GTS seats, 2 way adjustable not the fancy 18 way.

Think I’ll look into this now as have a new car coming, it’s the only thing that ages the 981 so prob should get it sorted before road trip in May

Got exactly the same need - road tripping France for 2 weeks in May and need to sort.

I’m torn between this and the NM Auto, think I’m swaying Mr12V tbh

I got round to assembling and fitting the side scoops today. A little bit fiddly and a bit cold for the tape but I got round it👍

I think they work well with the splitter and definitely look better in body colour (or as close as I could get to it 😂)

Overall quite a enjoyable little project, not too expensive and reversible if I change my mind.

Anyone thinking about fitting these I would recommend buying them already painted, buying some proper 10mm 3m vhb tape and be very careful removing your oem vents so you don’t lose any securing tabs😎

I want to order some side scoops, Design911 have some made by a company called Nordlight at around £200.

do you mind me asking where you guys ordered yours from?
