According to a list in the excellent Mail, Our Boxsters are the 2nd most popular car to own when you are having your midlife crisis ( a few of us are way past mid-life i think), Behind the 911, which came out top. I'm not actually sure i'd have a 911 over a Boxster/Caymen myself, unless i could stretch to one of the 'Special ' ones. The list is quite comprehensive, so the little Boxster did well !!

Anyone get or had moisture on inner glass of chrono clock . Obviously to do with cold weather, but is their a thing to do about it.
-
Araldite your headlights in. Aparantly some insurance companies are not insuring 911s as headlights are being stolen . A picture on face book of a Taycan with its wings opened up and lights gone. Couldn’t post it as to large file.

handy for me , just up the M27

what is a zorst actuator please.

Don’t use 3M green pads, they are too harsh. But cheap supermarket ones are fine, a bit of CIF helps to remove the bugs that hit you at over a ton😁

Fairy liquid, and a polish afterwards. No need for all these overpriced gimmicks

I have just measured mine . If you can get hold of a small tube , or Pippet, it can go down the side of the float in the small hole/cut out., then suck a small amount out. I used a syringe, to measure.

Have used a Lidl ULTIMATE SPEED for 4 years now, £12.99 when they have them in, works fine

cant you tell by the lights moving turning on and when steering . Mine do a little dance before settling down. Perhaps it has them but they are not working.?

Bit of a grey area regarding Antifreeze, some say it’s never changed from new, others say 5yrs etc. my local OPC are checking also and letting me know, I can imagine what they will say £££££

Coolant may be a bit low but it is plain water.

Hi just wondered when people change antifreeze in their 981. Mine is 2013 and don’t think it has been done. Also anyone experienced a wet boot, just can’t see where water could get in . Thanks

Funny, the other day was talking to a car salesman and he said 2nd hand car prices had never been so high, their is still fall out left from the shortage of parts for new cars, and long waiting lists for new.
Looked on Ashgood , cridfords and Harbour Cars and not a single Boxster 981S for sale, perhaps because its winter ?? But if you wanted one,( and not OPC prices) would have to look Privately it seems.

Still think the 981 Sports steering wheel is the best looking one, less bitty, billet looking , just right

Decided to blast my drains out ( 6 off, 2 large and 4 small holes in top of door pillar rubber) It came out as quick as it went in so assume everything is clearish, ahead of Storm agnus this afternoon , 8 inches of rain in scotland, that will fry many a 981 computer

where is Rajs simplified video , thanks

i have done this every few months to my PSE and so far no problem, I use a syringe to force it into all the moving bits. It’s a very high melting point grease, which fell into my hands😁

Apple CarPlay and lots of other tasteful stuff like GTS rear lights, Ducktail spoiler with all the original parts to go with the car. Low ish miles 32k. Only had one serious chat over the phone but the guy wasn’t keen on the x73 as he thought it might make it a bit hard ride wise and two offers of 25k 🤔😳 That’s on a MY13
Had an offer a couple of weeks ago of £30k from Ashgood, 63 plate 28K, S, with lots of toys. But still like it too much to sell for £3K less than i paid,2 years ago Ha! Ha!

This is what happened to mine back in that warm spell in june after covering car with a dark colour cover, hap them polished out which improved them 90% , but with a little more sanding/polishing i think they would be perfect, albeit without a hard top glaze, they are PPf covered at present, see below after polishing

Keep the fixed exhaust and get a Motoreasy warranty, £790 ( pay over 4 months) for 18months, OPC Comparable, £200/hr (ex vat), wear and tear covered, no Betterment applied,
