I fitted a Conti belt about 12 months ago and don't remember any problems at all. Check your routing (I guess you have!) and seating of all the ridges in pulley groves and check the belt is the right length. I will see if I still have the packaging for mine.
Another thought - maybe warm the belt a little to give it more flexibility.
Thanks.Did soak in hot water and helped a little but just not the last few millimetres. The route is ok because back on with the old stretched belt after no problem.

Yeah I’ve had a few cuppas and given up for now.I bought the dayco belt ages ago and thought the Conti belt might be easier but still no luck.Lots of sweating and swearing.Btw 6pk2115 both belts.

Tried to put new Conti belt on without success again 🤢any tips?also have a Dayco belt that I can’t get on either. If the tensioner pulley moved another few millimetres I could do it.

I'm picking up my new (to me) Boxster on Wednesday, so I'm starting slow and feeling my way around on here at the moment. Today I bought... a 1m length of heavy duty elastic, ready to sort out the known hood problem that was pointed out to me by an eagle-eyed member within minutes of me posting a photo on here. Only cost 2 quid from Hobbycraft, in case anyone is interested
You might say I used a bra strap..I couldn’t possibly comment...Heavy duty 😂

Last weekend at “ quarter to daylight “ I put the Brompton in the frunk. Blasted 45 miles down the the coast and cycled for 15 or so miles.
full English. Then home.
I combined. “Bike” with “Pork”.
I call it “Bork”.
and it’s what I do when “all them indoors”‘are still snoring.
Awesome ,don't think my cheapo dehon will fit but not tried..

I'm sure my boots have two each.
Just one on the drivers side on my car.The passengers side doesn’t have anywhere to put one.

The wind blew my boot shut yesterday so I ordered new struts.Opened the boot today and noticed it only has one..Doh

Treated her to some Super+ Esso today (always runs better) and gave her a right good spanking. I'm so happy to have her back after 6 weeks, I was like a child at Christmas. I'm not entirely happy with the cheapo front disks I have, as they cause a minor vibration under braking, so I'm going to get some OEM fitted in the next couple of weeks. Other than that, she's in such a sweet spot, my loved one has returned. Worth every penny. 😊
cheap discs?which ones are they?I have some cheap apec that’s not been fitted just spares.Im not sure you can really go wrong with discs.Glad you’re back enjoying the motor👍

How long do you have to wait until the fans start?

Wheels were £220 inc Vat for 17”. Far cheaper than anywhere else. Took them 2 days. Would definitely recommend - they look brand new.
Wow that is a bargain ??

I’m having thoughts about it. I have the correct belt, could try next time with lube on the belt and pulleys but still not comfortable that it’s a lot of pressure on the water pump bearing.
