Yes its posted earlier in the thread 😉

What option code is the seats on yours ?

I am not too sure I’ll try find out for you, but they look identical to yours to be honest. I was quite lucky as I have every document from new with the car inc the original invoice and black edition booklet etc

when you update your form, can you add the crested centre console to mine please :)

Does anyone with a black edition and sport seats actually have the option code for sports seats on the sticker in their service book ?

I have the original sales invoice with the sports seats added if that’s any use?

Now I am totally confussed re the seats (OK its a rainy day and I'm bored lol)....

    - The sport seat option code according to the price list (which is correct for everythig else) is P77

    - my car does not have this option code

    - but it has sports seats

Does not make sense.......so can someone confirm that these seats (from my car) are sports seats ?

They are indeed sports seats someone must have retrofitted them.

    Do you have created headrests?

Were full leather heated sports seats with crests not standard spec on these cars? Same for BOSE?

Sports seats weren’t standard no, crest may well have been i am not sure to be honest.

i did think Bose was standard but I have the original sales invoice and Bose is an optional extra on that so I am not sure.

    Don't get the 2.0 engine.

It will be quicker to walk.

I disagree although the 2.0 isn't the engine to go for it really isn't that bad. Its punchy enough and the car does handle slightly better IMO. It depends if you have other cars I guess and what the primary use is.

  7. Only thing I would add regarding the PSE is that it is a great option but not as good as the 981 IMO. Its mega rare to find I believe on the 987.2 but if I was specifying it new I am not sure I could have justified the cost which I assume is why its so rare.

It's was a 2009 ie early pdk I tried but it did have sport chrono, maybe the software was updated in the later models ?

In any case I'm happy to be back in a manual, I loved the PDK experience in the 981 and you can put up good arguments for both which is a compliment to how good each is from Porsche

Ps if you do have pdk you do need the flappy paddle sport wheel imho, the multi function push button wheels just do not suit it.

Yep have the sports wheel like you :) it's a must have IMO makes the interior far nicer and the paddles add to the pdk experience :)

  9. Congrats on the Purchase OP

Another BE owner here with similar spec to yours - the PASM and a PDK version

As others have said i find the PDK excellent in the BE especially in Sport (Sport Plus is savage for the road) and i have been fortunate enough to drive nearly all of the Porsche fleet at SilverStone (except the GT Cars) and found the pdk to be very similar if i am honest.

Looking forward to the updates :)
