Hmm. I heard several of these sorts of stories over time with people expecting a collapse. Not sure I have ever read someone afterwards saying "sold my house at peak, moved into rented, bought at trough, made a killing".

Much in the same way no one you ever talk to in the pub loses at the bookies.........

He is saying new mot at asking price, offers will have the Dec 23 mot. If he is going to trade it in I can understand his thinking, if it fails he has an issue and can't trade it.

You said you have emailed saying you will make an offer if he gets a new MOT. You then said the car sounded too risky. Bit of a contradiction.

Hi Andy, no worries, it was £955 including VAT. To be honest I’ve only driven it a few miles back home, however I doubt it will feel any different to me.
As an aside I got the timesheet from the service department - work began at 9.27am and lasted until 4.07pm so 6.5 hours!

    itemised.

    09.27 begin job.

    10.00 coffee break.

    11.05 resume job.

    12.00 lunch break.

    14.15 resume job.

    14.45 afternoon coffee break.

    15.07 resume job.

    15.17 end job.

16.07 finish 2 finger typing of job sheet, charge 6.5 hours labour.

    😂

I'm with Aviva, find them decent, particularly if you have another vehicle and use their multicar policy option. Good luck.

Was with them for my 718 and Corsa, Corsa cost peanuts on the multi car policy.

Have my main car insured with the still, phoned to add on a 6k Audi A3, "We can match your no claims on that sir, £1400 for the year please."

Told them to intercourse elsewhere, an absolute joke of a quote. LV did it for around a quarter of the price, despite not mirroring my no claims.

Can't you pick one up on your travels and import it back? must be room on one of your planes that someone won't notice!

Probably in the cockpit mate, let's face nowadays planes fly and land themselves so I'm pretty sure once he's up and heading vaguely in the correct direction he's up the back having a kip.

  7. Simply put, zero interest = asking price too high.

If you don't need to sell, you can set your price and can hope someone agrees with your valuation.

If you do need to sell, or are motivated to sell, the market sets the price and in order to encourage interest you will need tp price it keenly.
