Great work @Daboy3000
Looks like the control arm to me. I would personally replace as its looks a little bent to my eyes

Washed, dried thoroughly and then cover on ready for winter. Roll on March

I remember reading somewhere it’s intentional because Porsche didn’t want anything to distract from the drive…
Whether I believe it or not is another thing

Seats out. Have a good nose, I’d be astonished if it’s not in the car!
-
Use Flickr or Imgur to do pictures 😁
Looking good, is there a filter of some description on there? If not lovely colour alloys
-
This post needs pictures.
Let’s see the 20mm spacers, I bet they poke a bit now rather than sit flush with arch? -
Nope, no light to say the lights are on. Just one in each corner of the car 😁

Ok, the next stylistic problem after gloves must be the question of what hat to keep a balding bonce warm, if of a certain age of course!
The dreaded bobble hat, Porsche baseball cap or flat cap (to go with the 60’s string vest and gloves).
Now where’s my Damart catalogue for longjohns?
It’s a no to any Porsche branded apparel, just a nice beanie. With a bobble if I’m feeling adventurous
Any scarf wearers out there? Or is that reserved for the lady in the passenger seat -

Popped into garage on way to work they are going to reseal the u bends between the cats and backbox then see what emissions are like before removing one of the lambda's thanks for all the advice my limited knowledge is thinking on same lines as everyone

I'm pretty sure an excess lamda reading is indicative of an exhaust leak - it was in mine. Remade the joints with some cement and lamda readings dropped to within spec and MoT passed.
+1. As mentioned above get under and have a good feel around for any blows. You may have an easy fix

Problem solved. No cold knob either

I do the same 😄
And wear gloves...
The problem is what gloves….
Leather ones, but then you look like you’re on your way to do a “job” 🔪👀.
Mittens just don’t have the practicality needed.
Wooly gloves are just damn right slippery and dangerous. -

Certainly not on your own. My circulation in my hands is pretty much sweet FA anyway. Winter does not help. And with the natural forces of gravity my hands are always freezing after a decent drive. I often swap hands and sit on one with the heated seats on to get some life back in them.

Spyder parts come recommended on here. And also Meyle.
I have the ones from Spyder on mine and have no complaintsJust be prepared to destroy your old ones when taking them off! I can't offer any advice on the part number. Maybe the PET can shed some light?

The cloth seats in the Mini with heating are the bees knees in my opinion, mine in my 986 are nowhere near comparable, assume the leather has something to do with it.
I can notice a difference when the Mini uses start stop and it knocks the power to the auxiliaries. Can’t imagine there’s much wrong with your battery but maybe check all that’s ok first if you think it’s a power issue?

Plenty on the search function on this
As above. And can easily be retrofitted

Bit of good news then hopefully 🤞🏼

I feel your pain and know the embarrassment of having the alarm and siren going off in quiet street, even in the day time it’s a walk of shame to the car to stop it.
Stick with it, hopefully the worst is over! -
How handy are you with some spanners? If you can have the car off the road for a few days you could do it yourself. Then as Rowbos says take it to them to fettle with.
-
Been there done that 😔
Chop them out
-
New bushes on approx. 6 months ago, no sign of any rust just a little flaking paint and then...!

I seem to remember my cat supports needing a ‘wiggle’ to line up! They weren’t out by much and I’m sure one bolt instead of two would suffice
I’ve got a bracket in the garage ready to go on mine when I get round to it…. I’ll dig it out over the next couple of days and have a look at it for you, see whether there are any spacers etc 👍🏼
Couple of questions …

1. +1 for the adaptor - makes life easy
2. Nope, although my car came with one. Looks like an OPC part
3. Haven't heard any horror stories on here
4. Making the exhaust louder makes it more enjoyable
