  1. Brakes bleed without any major dramas. Only had one nipple that had a blocked whole all the others came loose without too much force.

The brake bleed kit makes this job so easy. Original fluid looked clean and only a few small bubbles. Happy now its changed.

Removed side grills and primed ready for spraying tomorrow.

  2. Finished replacing the water pump, low temp thermostat, belt and of cause coolant.

Just given her a wash before putting back in the garage.

Next weekend will be brake fluid change. Anybody recommend a brake bleed kit, seems to be a lot available?

  3. Yesterday, after the frustration of not being able to complete the replacement of the coffin arms, thought i would clean some wheels and get them ready for use once the suspension revamp has been completed. Need to get the Lobster Claws refurbished and a couple of new tyres at some point.

  4. Started to replace control arms, drop links and tuning forks.

Struggled but managed to get everything off,  have come to replace the control arms i purchased from GSF, but they are not the correct ones 🤬

They are Meyle part no 4160500000 on the part and 422PO0010 on the Meyle box. The part where the tuning forks fit is to thin, I will post some pics later.

Problem is i purchased these in December 2019. Emailed GSF to see what they are prepared to do, but not holding out much hope as gone past 30 days return window. Their web site says they are the correct part for my car and year.

    Gutted!
