I couldn't find the correct connectors, so cut the wires and soldered the resistor in place.
Sorry I can't be of more help

@bally4563that takes some bravery ! 😲
Definitely worth the effort, looks perfect!

Looks like the rears are the same as mine but smoked.
You wont be disappointed, makes a big difference to the look of the car, bringing it up to date.
Easy to fit too!

Just got back from last drive for this year 😞
Top down, heated seats on and it was lovely! Put a smile on my face and could have carried on driving for hours.

They’re that quick and easy to replace?
Yes. 3 nuts per side to undo located in the boot, unclip the multi-way connector, slide the light unit out and do the reverse to fit new ones. 5-10 mins per side.

Deano, those look interesting. As my car is orange, I'm more interested in the opposite of Chris, I'd like less red rather than more. My car has black bits but I've seen the smoked ones and they look too much like big lumps of black, so still not happy. I think you've got it right, these would look best on a silver car. Where from?
fk-automotive.de, they sell on Ebay but have a web shop as well. I ordered from the web shop as they were slightly cheaper than Ebay.
They have a selection of the same lights but with subtle colour differences, i.e chrome border, smoked etc. These also have dynamic indicators that you can turn off via a switch on the rear of the unit and they will then perform as standard.
They are LHD, so fog light is on the wrong side, but i will just pop the original ones back in for the MOT.
Ordered on the Monday arrived on Thursday via DHL.

Fitted new LED rear lights. I think it makes a real difference and makes the car look more modern.

Had to do this on my original seats as i had an intermittent airbag fault.
IIRC 3.3 ohm resistor is whats needed to stop the airbag fault light for the seat Thorax airbag.
The resistor needs to go across pins 16 and 17 on the Yellow connector TSX16 that is under the seat.
Disconnect the battery before messing with the seats etc. and be careful!

Removed the powder coating from the hubs (thanks Lonewolfgjp & 1/2cwt for the heads up), cleaned and sealed with Poorboys, fitted to car then took out for a spirited drive. Really pleased with the look and ride. 😀

Generally looks great except the bottom wheel in the last pic - looks like a rusty weight and a line/join in the paint. Is that a 'before'? Interested as planning to take my winters there if I ever get to visit my Mum again, who's in a care home in Manchester, and have to pass by Brum.
I think that’s a reflection on the weight. Will take some better pictures tomorrow.

@Lonewolfgjp, will check, wasn’t aware that was supposed to be free of paint. Looks like the dremel will be having an outing at the weekend 😉
@minimoog, yes for the 4. If it was the bare alloys and no tyres to refit etc it would have been £25 each wheel.

Just got back from picking up newly refurbished wheels. Very pleased with results and all for £140 at City Wheel Refurbishment Birmingham.
Price includes, tyres off, refurbish, chemical strip, shot bast, powder coat with choice of colour, tyres back on and balanced.

@EVO Chris, now that is dedication !
Amazing attention to detail 🧐

Dropped wheels off for refurbishment with 2 new tyres.😊
2 week waiting list 😒
-
Fitted new LED side repeaters and resistors to stop Canbus errors. Very bright !😎
Need to get new rear LED lights now.
-
Are you going to have a go at changing the clutch/flywheel yourself?
Interested to hear how you get on as this is on my list of things to do.
-
@EVO ChrisVery nice!
Make a huge difference to the look of the car 😉

Just PC092015
Don't include the 20% in the code 👍

@Menoporsche unfortunatley they have no bodyshop on site, otherwise that might have been my first reaction 🤬
He doesn't want to go through the insurance, so have to get a price and he will supply the cash.
Lets hope its that simple....

Luckily not. Car was parked up waiting for me to collect and he was trying to reverse park in the space next to it.
Not a mark on his car. On mine, the air scoop at the bottom of the front bumper has been pushed out and there are some marks/scratches to the bottom of the bumper.
His car was coming in for a warranty check. Not sure how that will be going after the parking incident 🤨

Went to OPC to get new key and recode.
Whilst there got reversed into by a nice White 911 Carerra 😒
Who’s running 15mm & 7mm spacers?

Got them on mine. I did try 20mm on the rear but it looked too much. I think the 15mm & 7mm combination looks just right. Here's a couple of pics, hopefully they help with your decision.
