I had a quote a couple of years back for the fitment of PSE at my local OPC who quoted more than was quoted in Tequipment. Once I brought this to their attention they honoured the price. So definitely worth bringing it to their attention 

Went for a 110 mile three mountain pass run here in S. Wales. Car is simply awesome. But when you’re followed by a hot hatch Ford over one then and at the end I’m turning right and the Fords turning left. Road is big enough for side by side position and he looks over. Gives the thumbs up and then says. That sounds unbelievable. So good 😊 Obviously I had Sport engaged and the PSE was singing. Smiling all the way home 😂😎

Picked her up after the annual oil change, MOT and four wheel alignment 😎👍 Went for the Spyder set up as I run the x73 suspension which of course is standard with the Spyder. Must admit on the short dry home she feel tight as a drum. Before setting was just Boxster with x73 
Loving my new GT4 front bumper and glad I went Aurum Gold. I love the look. But I know it wouldn’t be everyone’s bag 😎👍
 

Had it done a couple of years ago. Still feels fresh 👍

Passed its MOT and had an annual oil change. Hopefully four wheel alignment tomorrow and she’s ready for the summer 😎👍

Might have to blacken out behind the central air intake and maybe similar for the vent below the bonnet. But I could be just going OTT with this. Time will tell 😂👍

Budget £1600 -£1700 all in. That’s purchase from Design911. Delivery straight to body shop who painted and fitted the bumper. All you will need which is not included in the kit is a British style number plate plinth. But if your not bothered with having one you could go the stick on plate route.

Yes and I have x73 suspension also😳😳 I’m in GT4 territory regarding ride height. I did think long and hard about it but the fact it’s not a daily and purely a toy swayed my decision. But you’re right. Any slope needs to be taken at an angle and with care 😳😂👍

Dropped it off for the GT4 style front bumper 😎👌 Then it’s going next door for its annual oil change with four wheel alignment and MOT. Be all done by Thursday next week 👍

I was under the impression that if any service work is carried out to the Porsche schedule and official parts used you can get the service done at an Indy and your warranty will still be valid. It’s only an issue if you want it extended when it expires. 🤷‍♂️ 

I had my 981 up for sale last year with a view to get into a 987 Spyder. But alas it never sold so as you do I’ve further invested into the 981 😂😂 Wheels recently refurbished and GT4 style front bumper going on now in a few weeks time. So I’ll have to make do with the 981 this summer 😂👍

That’s a bit of a pain. What were the issues with the PDK gearbox 

Picked up on my last service this time last year. Was told not to worry about it and they will monitor. I definitely can’t tell sound wise. Especially with PSE activated 😀

As mentioned above I dropped the car off Monday to a well respected Wheel Refurb shop local to me. I was contacted Thursday morning to say the car wouldn’t be ready until late Friday as they weren’t happy with the colour match on the wheels after it they had been powder coated too the OPC supplied centre caps I’d given them in Porsche Aurum gold. So they were going to strip and re-due them and the car would be ready Friday evening. Car picked up tonight and to say I’m delighted with the finish is an understatement. Can’t wait for the GT4 style front bumper to go on now in March.

Great point on the locking nut. I thought you could open doors using the emergency key even if the window can’t drop due to lack of power. 🤷‍♂️

Just dropped it off at the wheel refurbishing shop. Going Porsche Satin Aurum Gold with Aurum centre caps 🫣🫣 Hopefully it’ll look good. Think when I have the GT4 style front bumper fitted in March it’ll look great. Before photo. Will post another when I pick the car up 👍

This cost me just over £800 at my local OPC. No warranty and local Indy wouldn’t take the job on.

My biggest fear I must be honest. But it’s used frequently on a drive just for the sake of opening and closing the valves. They also get regular WD40 sprayed on and then manually operated to get that all in. Never had an issue and three years and 15k miles of use 👍 must admit car isn’t driven through winter
