Hi Stiffkey
That is ugh! But it could have been worse! How is the crankshaft and bearings?
Puts my calliper bolt in perspective.
All the best

Renewed the rear brake pipes , they were mentioned at MOT time so I thought I might as well bite the bullet and do them ,the N/S was easy but the O/S was a pain , FYI , I found taking the boot lid off and kneeling in the boot gave better access to the engine bay and I could clip the new brake pipe into the original pipe clips , so that's all the brake pipes done in copper so they should last the life of the car now .
Hi
Did you make them up yourself? I have the gearbox out and was considering doing mine as I can get to them from below. I may just rub them down and coat in Dinitrol. Will have to see how bad they really are.
Tks

Hi
Attempted to fit a new IMS bearing this morning, failed, had to order a new one. Doh!

Hi Stiffkey
Im pleased to hear that about the crankshaft bearings. There has been a lot of talk about them being pretty much shot by 100k in these engines.
By the way, how were the other chain ramps?
Best of luck
