Cougarbox, i'd recommend Playa Del Carmen, Riu Tequila Hotel was superb.

at playa carmen now - beautiful beach - yum yum . this hotel a bit noisy but good quality - prefer boutique style but this will do for a grand each for 11 days and yes my swede is burnt. every time i see a jacuzzi or hot tub I p*ss my pants

Which hotel you chav? Beach is exceptional.
