I was going to link the discussion that *almost* got to the bottom of this, but there are about 3 on the subject! If you last had a service in 2016 (for arguments sake, say 2016 was a major service) In 2018 (or 20k miles) it'll be due a minor service. This is what should be stated in that other service screen (push up/down on the stalk). In 2010 (or 40k miles - in your case 38100) you'll be due another major service. Clear as mud?
