Wasserboxer
Hi guys, ive scoured the tinterweb for the answer but couldnt find a definative answer - will 987 wheels fit on a 986, and by that i mean the hole pattern. Im going to fit some other wheels and want to make surei get the right ones. Are there other porsche marques that have the same wheel hole pattern. Cant you just tell im a newbie! If anyone ever needs advice for their pressure washer then give me a shout, its what i do for a day job, repairs etc.

Menoporsche
Hole pattern is the same. If you find 911 wheels of similar age, the rears may be wider (changes handling) and you might need spacers.

That986
Very much so and the offset fills the arches far better.
Boxob
Whilst the wheels fit aren't the tyre sizes different so the rolling circumference is different which affects the gearing and the speedometer? Obviously sorted when 986 sized tyres are fitted to 987 wheels.
Bike Loon
From memory, when I looked my ones up on the online calculator, there was nothing in it as it was a bigger wheel but a lower profile tyre
S8ked
You will also want to be aware of the new wheel offsets. If they are significantly different from your original wheels you might need spacers.
