I used Halfords calliper cleaner some 800 grit sandpaper and a high temp Matt paint spray paint, two coats, I applied the decals then applied a coat of clear lacquer.

Decals from www.type911.co.uk

I am very happy with them

Hi - did you use 'high temp' clear lacquer...? if so - where from...???

ta

No I didnt, it was some lacquer left over from another job on the car, I only thought that maybe i should have after spraying all four calipers, 3 days in, no bubbling or noticeable affects so i think it will be fine

I used this but the black version

https://www.halfords.com/motoring/paints-body-repair/specialist-decorative-paints/halfords-brake-caliper-spray-paint-red-300ml

i then used a clear lacquer to help keep the Porsche decals on, this wasn’t high temp, but 6mths later they are still looking good

i only waited around 15mins between coats

Thanks for sharing. Good to hear that VHT wasn’t required.
