It has the Chrono Sports Plus package so has the Sport and Sport Plus buttons on the console. I've been thinking about adding the aftermarket PSE using a Porsche dealership. My question is, as the car has Sports Plus mode, will adding PSE increase the exhaust noise even louder? Is it worth getting it done if Sports Plus present? rowbos Posted March 25, 2020 Report Share Posted March 25, 2020 I love PSE, it's a major grin inducing option that always gets enabled when I am in the car (unless I'm driving through a town). Look out for tunnels or anywhere you get some reverberation back at you - fantastic! Sports Mode (not Sports+ which is a bit extreme for the roads but great on track) + Manual Mode on PDK + PSE = Fun Times Sports mode for reference gives more 'sound' with PSE than Sports+ from memory. huytonman Posted March 27, 2020 Report Share Posted March 27, 2020 As suggested shop around particularly with things they way they are at the moment, when I had PSE fitted to my 981S the price differences were pretty large between OPC's and BTW the Carnewal option is worth serious consideration, my last 987S had one of those and it had a great sound with no booming plus a LOT cheaper than PSE..My newly acquired 987S has PSE but so far no chance to really try it out..
