Window Trim Split

OK it was a bit tight for some of the screws but I have the part out. It seems the plastic is becoming brittle, a couple of bits fell off. Not sure how to fix this tbh, superglue/glue gun/sugru behind?

If I have found the right product it is £225 at Design 911! I only want a window seal not a whole new roof.

From what I have seen on this forum, that part will almost certainly be cheaper if bought directly from a Porsche dealership.

Obviously, if Gaffer Tape doesn't fix it, that means you haven't used enough Gaffer Tape

Well today's issue is a split driver's side window rubber, the one with flocking on it. See https://photos.app.goo.gl/MM2CoRYuAwqRbVVi6

Is Porsche the cheapest for this?

Also my frunk/froot/boot switches have dropped down again, I thought I fixed them correctly last time. Oh well.

well done on sorting it - I tried this a while back and was a total pain - part seems to be made out of recycled coffee cups - if you bend it at all it cracks.

gave up in the end and had OPC fit a new one (tried the design911 part first and broke it trying)

credit for fitting it without breaking it - I'm impressed! :worship:
