Tynesider
Anyone got any experience using this stuff? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SONAX-03400000-Rubber-Care-with-Valuable-Silicone-Oil-for-Car-Household-100ml/293687633654?_trkparms=aid%3D1110006%26algo%3DHOMESPLICE.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20200520130048%26meid%3Dd55c2b162daa4c898478ce03d4806cea%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D12%26mehot%3Dpf%26sd%3D143518723426%26itm%3D293687633654%26pmt%3D1%26noa%3D0%26pg%3D2047675%26algv%3DSimplAMLv5PairwiseWebWithBBEV2bDemotion&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 I still have a bit of a leak a on drivers side where the roof closes up onto windscreen right on the top corner and water drips in and falls where the frunk and boot levers are in the middle of the two levers/buttons. Was going to try this stuff on the seals after cleaning the rubber seals?
the baron
I don't think it will help with the leak, I use it on the rubber seals on the hardtop to stop it squeaking with good results.

the baron
It certainly won't make it worse, but not convinced it will cure your leak.

Was going to try this stuff on the seals after cleaning the rubber seals? Similar to the Nextzett Gummipflege which many of us use on door seals etc. Would doubt it will cure a leak though. Are you sure the roof is correctly adjusted and sealing properly when closed?

As far as I can be sure, I thought it might be worth a try, most of the time the car is covered with a cabrio shield cover so not really a problem but would like to sort it. edc
If the seal is squashed or collapsed there have been some good diy repairs on here bulking the seals up with straws or piping.
PaulQ
Untreated seals can cause leaks. Try some petroleum jelly.
½cwt
My wife had had a couple of VW EOS on which the seal treatment is krytox (VW part no G052172A1) which is not only a lubricant but also brings back some flexibility plumping up the seals. The first EOS did leak a little when we got is but soon solved after starting to use this regularly every 4 or 5 months, oh and clearing out the drains - it was our first carbrio so a steep learning curve. Don't know if it will work on the material Porsche uses for its seals as I've had no leaks so I've only use gummi pflege so far as a lubricant.
