box100
My front boot often falls closed on my head! Assuming it needs new gas struts. Can anyone recommend replacement they have found?
Paul P
Used these on the daily and all seem good. I think others have used them on various Porsche’s. https://www.sgs-engineering.com/gas-struts but check official parts prices at opc and see what the “baseline” price would be. Boxstercol
I just ordered a pair from Fraser Parts, £37 ish delivered for two Stabilus dampers which apparently are OE spec.
½cwt
There are may options listed on autodoc, take about a week to arrive. I fitted Monroes to my 986 for about £25.
PaulQ
Think I paid 15 quid for the pair from cpfl. They work.

Simon_R
I used Fraser parts for the rear boot strut. Quick service & well recommended.
