½cwt Posted November 19, 2020 Report Share Posted November 19, 2020 I last used my car on Friday and but the half cover on it. Today after getting in from work the alarm suddenly went off. I disarmed it and started it up to see if it was caused by a low battery, started fine. Then I started peering around the cockpit (half cover still mostly in place) and glinting in the light from the interior light I could just see a thread of spider silk and very small spider dropping down in front of the alarm internal sensor. If it hadn't been dark and with the cover mostly on I'd have probably never spotted the intruder which has now been evicted for not paying rent and causing a public nuisance.
