Leonvt Posted March 19, 2021 Report Share Posted March 19, 2021 Thinking of changing from my 2006 silver 987 Boxster 2.7, to 2012 981 in saphire blue, never looked at blue car before until i spotted this colour. The wheels are 20-inch 911 Turbo Design Wheels. A style used on many different Porsches although later more current cars received a slightly revised version with a solid polished outer rim, whereas the earlier cars had a more segmented outer polished rim. Davey P Posted March 20, 2021 Report Share Posted March 20, 2021 I had my eye on a sapphire blue Cayman for a while, but by the time I got the money in place it had sold (literally on the day I was ready to go and view it). At the time I was gutted because I couldn't find any others that matched it, and I ended up increasing my budget to get mine. It's a more conservative (but still gorgeous) Agate Grey which, to be honest, is my favourite colour anyway, so it all worked out nicely for me. Leonvt Posted March 20, 2021 Author Report Share Posted March 20, 2021 So I now have the build sheet for the car and it is Aqua blue, must admit sapphire or aqua blue I am well pleased with my colour. Seller has now removed the private plate and just waiting for new reg document to come through, hopefully pickup Friday coming. Also loving the colour. I need to post a few picture when i get the time. will need to get my 2006 987 up for sale now cannot keep two boxsters.
