Steve Laming Posted October 30, 2021 Report Share Posted October 30, 2021 I'm insured with Locktons (last four years) BUT........they will only cover you for a trackday if it's a PCGB one. This may well have changed over the years, but I haven't had any updates from them. When I went to Spa for the first time, I took out cover from a specialist trackday cover company ( sorry dont remember the name). It was £86 for covering a 986 valued at £5k. I use OpenTrack for my days and as a comparison, Goodwood full day with them is £275 to £325 depending on time of year. Compare this against the PCGB ones at £495 for the day. Buzzfox Posted November 1, 2021 Author Report Share Posted November 1, 2021 Just for an update I've had a quote from Locktons which is way off the money and that's without asking them about track day cover. Classic Line though may be a goer. Price is higher than Manning were last year but they will cover up to 6 track days per year. If I do 2 track days it will work out cheaper than have a road policy and separate track day policies. Just need to check out European cover with them. Thanks for the help here everyone.
