box100 Posted March 5, 2022 Report Share Posted March 5, 2022 This happened on mine (2005 987), for no apparent reason. I took it to a Porsche specialist, they looked for a cause but couldn’t find anything but the fault cleared. That was 13 years ago and it hasn’t come back. Paul P Posted March 5, 2022 Report Share Posted March 5, 2022 I read somewhere that the airbag light can trigger if the system come alive and the voltage is below 9v I can imagine that during a jump start than all kinds of crazy signals and voltages are thrown Whereabouts are you. ? if you are in strklng distance of me I can run a scan with a Porsche PIWIS unit and assuming there’s nothing actually reporting wrong then can clear the light.
